She is still knackered and has been home for almost 3 weeks, she cant get her sleep pattern back to normal.

I will visit one day definitely, it's on my list of things to do for sure

My sister lives on a farm and we have to drive through the yard to get to my sister's house. We regularly see the pet pony standing in the garden between the washing or sheep coming out of her house. The farmer is slightly eccentric & shows her sheep so they stay in house the night before a show.

Lol bouncyfi, I know but the pics were really cute with all the cows just bimbling about the garden.....the garden being huge I might add

My auntie is a Kiwi, she came over here to work and met my uncle, the moved back to NZ about 22 years ago,they have a great house out there, they have cows and everything, I have never been but seen pics of it.My Auntie runs a Nursery out there.It's a different way of life altogether.My gran has just come back after a months visit, she was exhausted not only with the heat but the travelling too.

It is somewhere I would like to see at some point in my life most definitely.

Im in Christchurch which is on the east coast of the South Island. I think you spell it Wairarapa which is in the North Island. Good attempt at spelling it though hehe Are you a kiwi?

Thanks Katie, they are my little babies I'd like to see yours!

When i went to Greece a couple of years ago we got rain and storms for a couple of days. Most of them were at night, so i'd spend the night sat on the balcony watching them approach across the sea. It was amazing, much better than UK storms, they are pathetic!

We are having one of the hottest summers ever!! I'm sure it's to do with the global warming thingy! It's much easier adding clothes when you are cold, but you can only go so far taking them off when you are over-heated lol

I do like winter but i'm also longing for summer to come...had some sun yesterday but it was SOOOOOOO windy! Can't wait for holiday to Crete in July...sun sun sun here i come!

I love hot dry desert heat. I do not like humidity. I hate cold.

I LOVE thunder and lightening storms big noisy ones not tweaky little uk burps and do not mind rain in desert conditions

I am definitely a winter person, the colder, the stormier the better!! It did reach 42 here a couple of weeks ago which nearly broke our January record! Misery!!

Here Here i feel the same way, I would do anything to be able to sit in front of roaring fire, nice glass of wine, good company and heaps of snow falling down outside.

Week after week of mid to top 30's is just wrong and the humidity is a killer too!!!!!!
