We are running an Anaesthesia Refresher course for VNs at our Leeds centre on 6th March or at our Potters Bar centre on 16th February, the price of the 1 day course if £155.

I'm sure the Hills courses aren't too much-all our receptionists do them as a basic introduction to nutrition (the first course rather than NAP).

Lorna, Royal Canin don't do any short courses but they do the Pet Health Counsellor course which is excellent and you get lots of good info for clinics etc.

I know you have to pay for the Hills course, but not sure on cost. I have only done a couple of parts of it. As a clinic we have moved over to using Royal Canin more now, don't think they offer any courses. Would be good if they did too. I might be wrong on that though.

yep the nutrition course is about 25 quid, but they are changing them all so go onto the hills my pet site and have a look

hi I did the pet health advisor level 1 last year, my practice sells mainly hills so the rep actually paid for a few of us to do it. Im sure its not that expensive, maybe give hills customer services a call or phone the rep for your practice. I thought it was like £25-30 for the first level, having said that I might be wrong.

is that the pet nutrition advisor (or whatever its called) then it goes to level 2, 3 etc?

Hills do a nutrition course but i thinks its like £200 or something for the books for the first part.. if u pass that then u can go on to the next bit. i was goin to go on it until i realised how much it was lol

CPD solutions run some good anaesthesia courses, so do the RCV and also Improve Internation (the last provider run a 6 month modular course resulting in a qualification)
