yeah me to! flippin hurts doesnt it? a big gouge and a bruise which lasts for ages! i just hoped that whoever was using it last did a thorough clean!

I got badly chomped on by a very scared kitty courtesy of someone else in the room flipping clippers on and off and me trying to catch it mid air cause it was on a drip and I didn't want it to get hurt. Doh!

Went straight to the doc's on anti-b's, but by the next day the infection was tracking, spent four days in hospital on iv anti-biotics, which oddly taste bloody horrible when they inject them!?!!?

Made me appreciate what our patients go through being poked with needles and injected with drugs!

one of my friends was bitten through her foot (and shoe!) by a great dane and i nearly lost an ear to a rottie (entirely my own fault)

happened 20 odd years ago so fine now thanks - have a healthy respect for disbudders and i learnt the hard way how not to carry out first aid on a burn with adherring fabric

think my most painful accident was getting too close to a gas disbudder which had been left to cool before being put away - melted my apron and uniform onto my leg. wouldnt have been so bad but boss tried to remove the pieces of melted apron/burnt uniform - needed a couple of grafts to put it right

I fell down the stairs at work years ago, carrying pill bottles and lids and got a big lump on my bum lol. That sure hurt like hell too!

I have 15 bite wounds to my left hand and arm thanks to a naughty kitty

and in my scalp somewhere I have a horse shoe shaped scar from where a dog put me in hospital for 2 days!

i have a scar on my bum from walking past the dental machine and the scaler ripped through my trousers and pants!

ouch! I have had bursitis in my hip following an injury, tx that worked the best for me was a steroid inj into the joint. hope it settles down for you soon
