I got bitten on my face by a dog two years ago and was convinced it would scar badly. One of the girls at work gave me some bio -oil to use a couple of times daily on it ater it had healed (she used it on a surgical scar she had). I am sure it has helped with the scarring, which is minimal...

Re: Scars and scarring

I have a lot of scars... big major ones, from surgery... never used anything personally, so cant comment ... but had a tattoo to cover one... the other major one , well its only noticeable wen I have a tan!, so basically leave it be, I do see peeps looking but I have got used to it now.., I have heard that BIo oli is good!

Re: Scars and scarring
I'm olive skinned and have never had a scar despite many a deep wound but recently I'm getting scars from everything, despite how small or superficial.

I've had some bad scratches, bites in my time but nothing has ever left a mark but recently I'm scarring from even the most superficial of wounds.

Nothing has changed, my diet is the same etc.

Does anyone know why I would suddenly start to scar?
i'm the same (and only 26). It's so silly- i have a scar on the back of my right hand that was a very minor scratch from a cat that didn't even bleed at the time, but the GSD bite on my chin- you can't see anything unless u look really close. and all the cuts and scabs i picked at as a kid despite my parents yelling at me, telling me how many scars i'd get from doing it- nothing!

I tried Bio-oil- didn't really make much difference in my opinion but does hydrate skin nicely

Re: Scars and scarring
