Lets face it they (government) can not get their act together over child welfare or the elderly and vulnerable in general how do you expect them to get it together over animal welfare. And without guidance from the top (government which is all corrupt anyhow) the bottom of the ship will keep hitting the rocks showing out of the water let alone the hidden ones.

These people are mental

The problem is with the punishment they get, (or won't as the case will be!!!!) They will probably get a slap on the wrist and that's it.

Hope the R.S.P.C.A step up and prosecute these idiots!

Re: animal stories in news today

[quote user="emma sime"]

I agree, its sick!

If they can do that to a rabbit, what will they do to other people!!

Was watching a tv prog the other night about a guy who was stalking and murdering women in the us. He started out torturing cats in an animal shelter he volunteered at - sicko!

yeah thats a well known theory about people starting out by torturing animals then move onto kids, then adults. Its a power complex thing. (did psych degree before vet nursing ) Police are probably trained to know this but it seems goverment aren't as punishment for these horrible crimes is minimal! really gets my back up!!

Did they name the girl? I thought so in my quick scan, but not sure. In the past year my practice has seen a dog stabbed by its owner cos its was barking and 'doing their head in' and a dog that was starbved to almost death cos she split with her boyfriend and it was his dog. Th first person got no charges and their dog back and the socond person also got away with nothing. How can this happen whilst these animals suffer?

Re: animal stories in news today

Why arn't these idiots exterminated??? Setting fire to a living creature??
