An SVN had got herself into a weird spread leg position to try a view an awkward vein when HVN walked in and said &amp;quot;careful you don&amp;#39;t split your trousers doing that!&amp;quot; SVN could not find vein so passed to HVN, who, being with bump had to arrange herself into position. Not nursing though, I was sitting on reception floor (whilst waiting room empty I&amp;#39;ll add) and me and another nurse were seeing how flexible we were by crossing our legs and seeing if we could make our knees touch the floor (this makes no senselol) and my pants ripped &lt;img src="http://www.vetnurse.co.uk/emoticons/new/Ashamed_smiley.png" alt="Embarrassed" /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I accidentally got my SVN tunic caught on the reception desk latch and ripped it entirely open whilst in a hurry. MORTIFIED is an understatement.&lt;/p&gt;

My HVN and I measured me for my new QVN green tunic and according to the back page of the Alexandra catalogue, I need 1 size for my bust, a different size for my waist and another size for my hips. And why can&amp;#39;t they do trousers of different lengths? I&amp;#39;ve got to take mine up by about a foot.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I currently have Graham Gardner green &amp;#39;combat&amp;#39; style trousers with pockets on the legs (very useful) and elasticated waist (no worries about poppers/buttons pinging off when wrestling and the trousers falling down) and I love them. Expensive but comfy and practical.
