Gee he is less grizzled in the photo than when l met him, I guess it is an old photo. Last year at meet the rcvs day he was much worse the wear than that.

Just so you know, I am following the thread. Just undecided. Could just be that it takes a little while to get used to. So far, the people happy to display their real name seem to outnumber those that aren't. Other factors include the more 'professional' look of displaying real names, and the fact that the tone of some replies could be improved by greater transparency.

Kerry, I have no problem with that :) In fact, Facebook demanded I use Alexander 'Arlo' Guthrie in case anyone thought I was the hippy singer

Great so now l have to be confused by a new nickname as opposed to using my old nick name that's my standard name and you lot will then complain that l have a new nickname and not using my standard nickname that's also my main name and that it is confusing you.

I'm assuming Arlo doesn't like us using nick names cos he hasn't said anything about changing back...... can't there be a compromise... I do think it has taken something away from the site........ not because it is more open but vetnurse has always been used with peoples nicknames, it's part of how it is.

Kerry... how do you change your name?... I'm being abit slow and can't work it out!
