Don't know if other peeps at work do it either - but it does seem a sensible thing to do to my mind

I have always been under the impression RVN can sign replacement vacc card, or vacc record, but if it says vacc certificate then only a vet can sign.

If I fill in a replacement vacc card for a RVN/Vet to sign, I always stamp each sig with the practice stamp too, and write 'replacement vacc record from *date* - not sure why I do that - just seems a sensible thing to do... They are just signing that the vacc records are the same as our clinical records after all - they haven't actually given the vaccs...

Certificates not to be done by nurse, cards can be.

We always get vet to sign, just fill out the rest then shove under nose for signature!

If the vaccine wasn't done by a VN, ie 2nd vacc then I think legally no-one is able to sign the certificate except a vet.
