Last summer I bought some cheap crocs but I slipped on the floor at work as I had been out in the rain and I walked into practice onto reception floor and went a**e over T*t and sprained my ankle

Aswell as been trully embarrased (waiting room full, ambulance called OMG i'm cringing just thinking about it!!!) I am still having pain with my ankle now and I did this in july.

I immediately went out and bought some proper crocs and I have not had one problem since even worn them all winter in the snow and not slipped.

So just thought I'd let you in on my embarrising moment to save you all going through it

Re: Crocs!

Thanks Loubylou! Just ordered a couple of pairs.... my present ones are slowly coming to the end of their life.... I know they have holes in, but they are so, so comfy to wear at work.... I've been a convert for about a year now

Re: Crocs!

Yes me too!! We have got shoes made by a company called Lassi - they are slip on like crocs but solid across top. They have very small ventilation holes along side - keep feet cool but nothing can get in! They have orthapaedic insoles and are very comfy. Can be washed and even disinfected with virkon and be aok! Insoles also wash in the machine - we use them for theatre - much better than those horrible wooden clogs!!

Can get details for anyone interested - they come to your practice if buying in bulk - also get discount if buying in bulk.

Re: Crocs!

It's the poo/vomit/blood urine leaking into the holes in them that actually put me off them.

I'll admit when they first caught on, I thought they were the ugliest thing on earth and couldn't comprehend why anyone would wear such 'shoes'.

I now own 2 pairs which I wear for work. They are fantastic! Get urine/poo/vomit/blood on them and you can just wipe clean or rinse under the tap. They're durable, flexible and I've never once come home with aching feet since wearing them. And believe me some days we don't stop for the whole 8 hours (and often more).

Re: Crocs!

Can sometimes get some real bargains, but look a bit odd wandering round the kiddy section!!

Re: Crocs!

Size 2!?
