Is there a vets now near yourself?I know some RVN's that have worked there and managed to pay off debts by doing the odd locum shift. Im a student still (hopefully will be qualified by the end of april) and I did receptionist work at vets now. It didnt pay great but it got me extra pennies for a holiday and house!Thats the problem with the new framework of the VN training. Practices dont actually have to pay you for you working which i think is really really wrong and no help for mature students. Maybe they'l work out grants for the course but i dont know. Hope this helps x
