Well l do not do the social websites so not a problem there. I was just on a sort of twitch to see what was about keeping FF as my main one

No trouble at all.

Hope you find a good 'un there're quite a few to choose from. I did the same thing a while back, looking for a new browser.

Flock was another I tried. It's almost the same as Firefox just works better with social websites, like facebook, twitter etc.

Still sticking with Firefox though. It's too good!

I did try opera at a friends urging about 6 years ago. I realise forever in the time span but l was not impressed and not found the bother to do it again although it does have good write ups.

Have you tried Opera? I use that as well as Firefox. 'Cause my internet is so slow at times. I can't get broadband.

Opera has a few plus sides compared to the others, it has a thing called "Turbo" where if you're on a slow internet it loads faster. Albeit a bit more roughly when it comes to pictures.

It also has a thing called "Link" that saves your favourites, tabs, history (all of these optional) to your profile so that if you use Opera somewhere else, you just sign in and all your favourites are there.

If you download it for your phone you can have your favs there too. It's really quite versatile.

Give it a shot. See if you like it.

My one is a night in a dark wood theme. Not 100% what l wanted but looked through about 58pages of themes and was going a bit squelch eyed so selected this for now.

Yup thanks Cat. I have just upgraded to the newer firefox got the notify today. Discovered the themes never bothered with them before.

From what you say l will stick with FF.

Chrome is just a basic tabbed browser and has very little functionality compared to fire fox.

Swear by fire fox and dont touch IE at all on my personal computers though have to use it at work.

My sister swears by google chrome but we had to take it off our home pc because it really slowed it down. It is a pretty old and rubbish pc though. Sorry that's not a lot of help is it.
