At present we use Safe4pets whish has a lovely smell and comes as a concentrate so just has to be added to water but it is a bit expensive! Hate Virkon...used it before, so its out. &lt;p&gt;To try and help you with your throat you should be very careful using Rodasept. It contains GLUTARALDEHYDE and FORMALDEHYDE which will cause coughing. The product is German and its main use is in jet-washers on farms for agricultural and equine applications. It isn&amp;#39;t recommended for veterinary use and has no testing certification available to view.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Ideally you should be using a safe, proven disinfectant that has no side effects, kills lots of &amp;quot;nasties&amp;quot; but also offers great economy and value for money. If you haven&amp;#39;t tried TRIGENE ADVANCE yet, you really should.&lt;/p&gt;
