The reason I'm asking is because I have became increasingly self-conscious of the 'red pimples' (only way I can describe them) on my upper arms. I have had them for years, but for some reason are only now

Re: Body Scrubs

thanks for that Steph.

Funny you should mention that- Ive noticed same thing on my legs lately.

Re: Body Scrubs

Red pimples on the forearms or upper arms is not a skin exfoliating problem, but more likely to be dry skin or an allergy. check with your GP they may be able to prescribe some cream for you or offer a medication to help reduce it. :)

Depending on what it is... Try using less soap and just rinse it well with water daily, let the natural oils build up and maybe change your washing powder to something more sensitive. Ariel makes a sensitive washing liquid, powder and tab. :) stop using fragranced lotions and sprays, change your deodorant to a sensitive one and If it's an allergy it should clear up in a week or two. If not, it might be dry skin, a skin infection, foliculitis, or keratosis pilaris. Some can even be triggered by your hormones and diet, some insulin resistant conditions can cause bumps on skin.
