Just wondering what everyone else tends to do?

The only 'worms' buns can get is thread worms from soil, that cause no clinical symptoms.

I've never done mine & I've had buns for 22 years.

Re: Worming Rabbits

Thanks, I was only thinking of worming them as they have both lost a bit of weight / got fitter? and eating loads!?, but could it be a mixture of the cold winter and or exercising more?!

Re: Worming Rabbits

My opinion and that of many well known rabbit vets, is that treating rabbits routinely with fenbendazole, either as Panacur or Lapizole is pointless and does not reduce the infection if the rabbit is EC positive (as the 9 day recommended treatment length isn't long enough - positive rabbits showing symptoms need at least 28 days of treatment) and if the rabbit is negative then as soon as the medication is stopped they are just as much risk of developing the condition if they come into contact with it.
