R(VN) can legally sign a record but not a certificate but must sign as a nurse not a vet, - got this direct from RCVS

I am pretty sure there is something on the RCVS website about this.. and QVN can sign if it says card, but not certificate.

My understanding was the QVNs can sign vaccine cards rather than certificates but we should pp our signature (usually because the column states vets signature) and obviously include VN/RVN afterwards.

I have been told my our practice manager that only the Vets are allowed to be signing vacc cards that we are not allowed to sign on there behalf.

We sign the vaccination certficate on behalf of the vets in our practice not sure what the real rules are on that?

I think we can sign vaccination records but not certificates.
