I know this is a long shot, but I'm putting him on here. He is a blue oriental, not the one in the picture, but exactly like it. Missing from Newport since Feb 27th. He is microchipped & is 7 months old. He is castrated. Has vanished into thin air

Re: Missing Cat

It's not my cat, he's one of my work mates' cat. She's put ad's in local papers which is the usual, (after knocking doors, posting leaflets etc) we normally get a good response using them. He does normally go out, but never ventures far. I think he's been taken in by someone because there have been no sightings at all. We see it all the time & it infuriates me. They just assume that any new cats are 'strays' & start feeding them, encourageing them to hang around & don't bring them to us to check for microchips.

Another workmate lost her cat in similar circumstances to yours Sal. She got into a builders van, but escaped the other end of the journey (without being seenin the van), about 30 miles away, then hung around for 3 months on a building site. They were all feeding her, but when the weather turned cold, they took her to a Vet who remembered her being reported as lost some time before. They rang my friend, who could hear her crying in the background, over the phone. It was an amazing reunion!!!

Sal is so right- I sold a tv a few years ago, we loaded it into the guy's boot and he merrily drove off... And back in half an hour later, much to my dismay, thinking something was wrong with the telly... When I answered the door, he said 'do you own a little all black cat with a squeaky meow?'

Err.... Yes?

'Want to get her out of my car, love?'
