So shocked. The practice I work for have been using hibiscrub with cotton wool to clean patients pre-operatively for years.

&lt;p&gt;Been using hibi and water soln with cotton wool for over 17 years (except eyes, mms etc) and our post op complication/infection rate is very low. Considered swapping to iodine at one point but after i researched it I found it was better to stick to what you know and the info supported that&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Same.. never ever had a problem, after the hibiscrub, we spray the site (depending where) with surgical spirit&amp;nbsp;and we then use iodine, and yes I agree kimbo.. smells funny &lt;img src="http://www.vetnurse.co.uk/emoticons/new/Sick_smiley.png" alt="Ick!" /&gt; I hate it ...
