 Even has our vet totally stumped. 
 Urinalysis showed blood in urine, ketones v. high and Leuco&amp;#39;s high and glucose in urine...HOWEVER...glucose level of totally normal 5.5!!

&lt;p&gt;have just checked and glucocorticoid tx may give a false +ve&amp;nbsp; ketones on the urine strips- also if it is hyperpigmented sample from the blood. &lt;p&gt;i presume you are running full haem and biochem as well as the fructosamine and potentially getting the glucose rechecked at the lab..&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Fructosamine is off at the lab, should have it back tomorrow...&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;We tested BG 4 times throughout the day! All were within (5-7) Used a good gucometer we have in the clinic, the ones where you pop it in the bottom and put a drop of blood on the end.&lt;/p&gt;
