I have quite a bit of stuff on 'client rapport' if it helps - mostly therapy based but used to use the stuff every single day in practice during nurses clinics

Might also be worth contacting the Blue Cross Pet Bereavement service as they may have something on this.

On the Hills VHA course i did a few years back there was a speaker called Susan Dawson who was researching this, i think in relation to bereavement. Think i have seen an article in VNJ too.
