I never have really thought about what Tofu is made of or how it's made.... am off too google now! Putting myself of it would save me a few pennies lol!!

can not take soya makes me ill .. well soya milk does or l would have liked to taste tofu mainly because of an article l read in nat geo years ago about it being made.

currently hooked on real bavarian smoked cheese - there is an excellent cheese shop in Louth as seen on hairy bikers. one day i will try the stinking bishop maybe - but the name puts me off!

One of my favourite meals is Yasai Cha Han from the Wagamama cook book (I found the recipie on line.... http://kalicooks.blogspot.com/2008/10/yasai-cha-han.html) yummy.

Or stir fried veg, with tofu (or quorn), noodles and a bit of soy sauce (good if your home late as it only takes about 5 mins to cook)

Or anything with pasta.

Vegetable and cheese pie tonight!!

Rattatouie is nice, especially with left overs just make it up as you go along!

or try cutting them lengthways, brushing with a little oil and baking or grilling them until almost cooked and then topping with a mixture of breadcrumbs, grated cheese and finely chopped or paste garlic with a little bit of fine chopped rosemary. grill them until the breadcrumbs brown and the cheese has all melted in. for breadcrumbs you could sub soaked couscous. (nice with pine nutsas well)

i got 3 aubergines yesterday, not keen on them bit to mushy but they were cheap. need a good vegi recipe .

the list is endless!! :) you can buy subsitutes like quorn and that! But i find if you start of that way you end up eating it alot and i find its quite unhealthy and does me no good!

enchiladas or tacos made with quorn are very nice and i have a good nut roast/cutlet recipe that most people enjoy ( unless they have nut allergy )
