At least the RSPCA are aware if there are any problems, its a good outcome but not sure I would rec it even if ok'd by RSPCA . pleased she is ok tho and understand why you didnt want to leave her cold or starving and she now has a good home

Re: cat

no no i did the micro-chip, to be honest it was a bit back handed, i was/have moved house and the officer said " it may be better if the cat just disappeared at the same time you move". the owner was apparently being very difficult. they believe she was being abused due to a limp she has due to an old injury that had not taken care of so its set funny and her teeth are missing on one side(tho she is eating fine, no pain) shes been cleared for hyper (by the vet i paid for, also the teeth didnt seem to be lost naturally) so it was simply that she wasn't beening fed, apparently there was no sign of cat food or bowls or any thing. and as millie wasnt chipped or have a collar the officer said this was the best way of dealing with the problem, due to the amount of time it would take.

so think i got lucky as felt bad at frist but after talking to vet, my own obs and the RSPCA officer i think its for best.

i tried my times to advise the owner giving her free prescription food, feliway and such.

shes a little darling tho, follows me everywhere i go the yesterday i walked to the shop after i let her out on the way back i saw she was following me ^_^ tho she knows when i needtime with out her i think were both the same sole.

Was it the RSPCA who did the microchip and registered it in your name and address? - it just seems that they have acted a lot faster than they would normally and transferred ownership as well unless the previous owner has signed Millie over? It usually takes a lot longer to get a result so she has been lucky. I know when I have been involved with RSPCA cases in the past they are usually fostered well outside the area until the case has been resolved and are then mostly rehomed out of the area as well. Thats the bit I didnt understand - but maybe things have changed

I am really pleased she is doing well tho. did you find out if she is hyperthyroid at all or was it just lack of food and care causing her problems

Re: cat

how do you mean??
