2 times back in Rhodesia l found scorpians in my bed. Not the foggiest how they got there. We lived in a 2 storey house and scopians have no history of moving like that.
I have always liked them though l used to go and turn over rocks looking for scorpians. Did not do anything other than look for them there was something exciting about finding them. Snakes were 2 a penny and l did like them but scorpians really were more exciting to find.

Don't! I woke up one night to a tickling on my arm, my first thought was spider so i jumped up and pinned the duvet down... i was then stuck... do i move or not... i was there for about 30 mins plucking up the courage to move the duvet!, so after a pep talk to my self i counted 1,2,3 and jumped off the bed pulling the duvet back to reveal ... a mashoosive spider!

This was at 3am in the morning .. i was still living at my parents .. but i couldnt move.. i was rooted to the spot, if i run and get mum it will move and i will never see it again... so i stood there in the corner of my room untill my mum got up!! by which time it had gone under my bed. I was just about hysterical! i felt soooo stupid a 23 yr old terrified of a spider.

My now Hubby and my mum took my bed room to pieces after spraying it with about half a can of staykil!! and they never found anything not even a body!

I had to sleep with the light on for the next week!!!!

yep or trying to get the cat to go and eat it but it keeps walking past and ignoring it

or when your in bed and darent move or go to sleep because of the spider on the floor, only to find out when daylight arrives that its a bit of cat fluff

Oh my god that's a horrible pic

I had a bit of a jumping panicking fit in kennels today...put my hand on a bulldog clip & out came what i thought was spider but turned out it was only a poor fly who preceded to fly out of the room!

Sorry folks!! Bit mean of me to post the photo so obviously!!!! But so, so funny, if you don't mind spiders! Did the same at work and had similar reactions..... so I appologise for it but not really!!

I do think it's a great photo tho............??!!

He!He!He! F1chick! I am very glad to say that I didn't take the picture or come accross it at all!!!! It would of scared the wotsits off me! and I don't mind spiders! I have one wintering in my kitchen blind!!

I got sent this by my brother who loves spiders... I think it originated from Australia so no need to worry about seeing something similar over here!

from my desk in the spring time i can see little parachute spiders fly off the decking in the sun! it's cute but i wouldn't want to be in the wind of them!!!
