I know! which is why I want to do them the best I can with the best knowledge I can obtain from recognised sources rather than copying what the previous nurse did - I googled puppy parties and quite a few dog forums discussions came up, and lots of 'dog people' don't think highly of puppy parties ran at vets so I want mine to be worthwhile and talked about in a good way.

another nurse already runs parties but lots of people don't come back for the 2nd session, so we definitely need changes!

Depends how much you want to include as to what course you do. CAW run some one day seminars and go through the basics to COAPE doing their distance learning/practical course with Sarah Whitehead (which is excellent btw). If you contact your Intervet rep they should be able to send you the puppy party pack which goes through a lot of stuff too.

A couple of our nurses are going to a one in edinburgh run by CAW on nursey clinics, not sure of the content but im sure if you go on website it will give you details?
