Biological washing powder with water and then rub half an orange over it...smells good!

I used total care from animal care when delilah urinated on my carpet worked really well and smells nice, also got it from work so not too expensive

we have started leaving a lamp on at night for her in the hall so that shes ok and a wee light in the living room! Shes soo funny about it though the minute the lights go out in the room she jumps up and runs to the hall! Bless her! People think am mad when i say shes afraid of the dark lol!!

And steph yeah we have 2 trays one was in the room and one in the toilet both are dark so guessing thats why she used the carpet!

simple solution was a waste of money for me. I could still smell it and it didn't remove the stain! Urine Off is a much better product. The other cheap option is bio washing powder mixed in a spray bottle (tablespoon or so with water) spray on soak if carpet or fabric, leave to dry completely. wipe/vacuum away residue and then spray with vodka or surgical spirit leave to dry. If it's a tough stain, then after you have let the previous dry completely after a couple of days, wash the item in the washing machine if possible in bio washing powder. or if it's a carpet use a carpet cleaner or scrub with hands and brush. the oxy clean powder spray is good for old stains to, just test the area first.

Also you should have a few trays dotted round the house, not just the one, if she's scared of the dark then maybe look at getting a little wall night light for her. :) btw lots of cats don't like using trays in laundry and toilet areas because of all the human smells, sounds and sometimes they are upset by the reverberation of the room.

aw Luka does that when hes upset over something!!

I think the problem now this will sound silly, is that she is sometimes afraid of the dark, well we think this because she wont sleep in the room at night and sleeps in the hall where the outside light shines in quite brightly and where shes started going is only during the nigh where there is some light!t! The litter trays in the bathroom with no window so pretty dark! We moved the litter tray in the hall and shes using it fine at night now! Hope she grows out of it, shes 7 months so here is hoping lol!! Glad have solved the mystry tho haha

Ah checked ebay almost same cost as urine off so might just opt for urine off as have herd great things!!

God i sound like a proper "owner" haha! Next i will tell you about her bear and blanket lmao!

aw thanks! Poppy doesn't like the covered litter box and have just discovered that shes been using the hall carpet as her "new" litter box gr!! Cheers tho! :)

I use simple solution cat stain and odour remover...not too expensive and available from ebay and pets at home!! you just have to really drench the area affected to ensure it has gone all the way through!!
