Stuart - I can totally believe that most of your friends were like 'who me?!' when you sent them a message saying I love you - people just don't expect that kind of thing!!! I think it's a great idea though, and I'm going to start freaking out all of my friends and family with it over the coming weeks!!

We don't really do Valentines in our house - I agree that it's more about people who want to get together than those who already are. I hate spending money on throw away rubbish so this year I spent quite a lot of time making a card. And I have to say it came out very well and he loved it!! I decided to put some time into it this year because for the last few months we have both been working really hard and there has not been time to appreciate each other, so it's nice to make an effort. Later, we are going to order in a curry so neither ofus has to cook! Hooray!!

But Happy Valentines Day guys - I LOVE you all!! xxx

I hate valentines day! People should choose to be romantic all year round with the person they love and not just feel like they have to on one day of the year!

Having a quiet one in and cooking a roast for the bf. Ooo and I got breakfast in bed which was nice.

I tell my bf I love him multiple times every day and I first told him after we'd been together for 5 months. I wanted to tell him before then but was to scared to so instead I text him off my mates phone whilst I was wasted in Dublin on St Paddys day! lol I landed back in the UK to a message saying he loved me to and had been wanting to tell me for ages. Put a massive smile on my face

I put on weight after getting hitched (I really didnt bother when I cooked just for me), he is a big eater and I kind of followed suit.

any of you who is my friend on Fbook may have seen my status saying....Bah Humbug!!! I like Finnigan have been single for 4 yrs (where has time gone!!) and know exactly where you are coming from!!!

I have started to tell my parents more that I love them, just he odd text, tell my cats every day even when they wake me up at 4.15 am on a sat morning!!!

think i miss having someone to come home to and tell about my day most but also the cooking side of things....i hate cooking for just me and as a consequence i eat rubbish and have put on a load of weight!!!!

I've been with my hubby now for 10yrs, and we both agree that Vday is waaaay over-rated.. I mean, he'll cook me a nice meal etc.. but we dont do the cards/prezzie thing.. we used to when we were dating, but that frazzled out after 3yrs! And to be honest, I dont need a card to show how much he loves me, and me him..

We tell eachother 'I love you' EVERY single day.. probably about 5x a day or more, and it does not wear thin or tired.. everytime he says it makes me smile (ok cheeese! lol) I also tell the girls I work with / friends / family that I love them.. all the time :)

Valentines day is more for the singletons out there wanting to tell someone they love them..

aw thats sweet!!! Yeah our "I love You" moments, on both parts wasn't romantic at all lol!

I took 2 months, a month after him but it was only because we were arguing over my summer placement and me going to newcastle! I decided that was a gd point to say it not romantic!

But heyho 2 years on am still with despite everything we have put each other thro! Hoping for a better 3 rd yr lol!!

I hate the whole 14th feb thing whats the point? We met on the 9th feb so we sorta celebrate thn but no cards as i say to him that the 3 quid can be used for a pint!

woo claire 8 months to say i love you My bf told me on the thrid date that he loved me, when he was drunk and we were in a club, had known him about a month. My reaction was F*uck of lmao! It was a bit of a shock to both of us haha still with him and have lived with him since going out 5 months it made some money sense but i regret it slightly!!

Anyhoo to all my vet nurse friends.... I LOVE YOU!!!
