Hi Vicky... when my skin was pretty bad I use to take 400mg capsule each day but then I got worried about taking something I didn't necessarily need every day, they advise against this because it can disguise any problems, but Vit E definately helped with my psoriasis and my spots and my dry skin and dry hair especially in the winter, so now I sometimes just take a 200mg caps or sometimes a 400mg caps or take them every other day or at the moment I take 2 x 400mg evry 4-5 days..... sorry pretty random, eh? but depends on how things are looking and how I am feeling!! Really not much help at all!!!

That is helpful lol! I might keep myself on a highish dose for a couple of months to get my skin clearer, then try to reduced dose, that should be ok i think? It gets worse with stress...so exam time i'll be on a high dose!!!!

Re: EPO and Vit E...

LOL I thought you meant erythropoeitn which in work is called EPO!!!! was wondering why you would be taking it!!

Re: EPO and Vit E...

Hi Vicky... when my skin was pretty bad I use to take 400mg capsule each day but then I got worried about taking something I didn't necessarily need every day, they advise against this because it can disguise any problems, but Vit E definately helped with my psoriasis and my spots and my dry skin and dry hair especially in the winter, so now I sometimes just take a 200mg caps or sometimes a 400mg caps or take them every other day or at the moment I take 2 x 400mg evry 4-5 days..... sorry pretty random, eh? but depends on how things are looking and how I am feeling!! I reckon two a day would do you and you might even be able to get away with less if you are also eating lots of Vitamin E rich foods along with them. Just be sure you never go over 3000iu as it has been shown to have toxic effects!
