I always wondered how effective it would be in animals.....now I know.....thats great to hear! I just know it works very well for my back problem.

My cavalier had it for about 4 months after being diagnosed with syringomyelia. Worked a treat, got it on prescription from Tesco and after 4 months she wasn't in pain any more and never had it again

Hey there,

my experiences of this drug is great. My dog was diagnosed with lumbosacral formainal stenosis over a year ago now and he was prescribed gabapentin and tramadol. He is running about like a 2 year old again which is great. We added in accupuncture to ease wound up muscles but he only gets that once a month now. He is a 24Kg lurcher and is on 300mg BID. He is doing really well on it and now has a 9 month old lurcher to keep up with and is so far showing no signs of slowing.

It's great from what i've experienced. but it really made my little kitty lethargic. i ended up halving the dose suggested of 50mg. Since she's recovered from the RTA and implant surgery she's now on Onsior and doing fantastic.

we have a cat thats on gababpentin for her neuropathic pain and the owners think it is working. she presented to our clinic with chronic pain ie meowing like crazy and we couldnt localise where it was, referred her on to a specialist... owners havent look back since. i can check out the dose after my shitf.
