I ask because one that I made of my vet/ vet nurse team when I had one of my cats neutered, they reckoned was the oddest one they have had!

We also had a cliet collect her dogs body from us for the funeral she had arranged at local pet cemetary. Had a coffin we had to put him in, then put him in car boot which was all lined with silk with lots of flowers. They were all dressed in black and the man walked n front of the car down the street - like they do human funerals.

We also had a client kept her dead pug in the freezer as couldn't bear to part with her.
I had another odd request which is a little bit sad.

cat had been pts and had been left with us for cremation - 3 days later the owner died. Owners daughter decided she would like the cat buried with her mother (which isnt possible I was told there are rules and regs to prevent this happening). Result was we had to find the cat which was originally a routine group cremation. Take it to the crematorium ourselves and get the cremation done asap so we could then take the ashes to the funeral director and re unite cat and owner in time for the funeral. took a lot of co ordinating but we managed it. was a nice thought i suppose that they both got buried together

Re: Odd requests!

We have a taxidermists number at work...
