I do get access to quite a few journals, but at times they either just give me an abstract, or the site runs dead slow, making research very tiresome. I have accessed a few on pubmed, but some I cant get. I will look at your links, and thankyou all again, you have been a huge help.

I got a few papers faxed today from a Cardiologist who comes to our work a few times a month to see our heart cases. Also I have been told to contact a fair few too. You have all been fab as always

Re: Cardiologists

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/17827884?itool=EntrezSystem2.PEntrez.Pubmed.Pubmed_ResultsPanel.Pubmed_RVDocSum&ordinalpos=6

If you're looking for specific papers try Pubmed http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/

It's a massive database of journals which you can search through by keyword for specific things, it got me through all my projects at uni! Some papers you may have to pay to access, but if you are associated with a uni/college they may have a subscription you can piggy back onto

Try this link to a paper I found on Pub Med, its an abstract but as superstar says you can get the full paper if necessary. Its a great site.

Hi,

I work for Mike Martin cardiology and respiratory specialists.

With regards to Mitral valve replacement, I believe at the moment there isn't any where in the country offering this surgery. The RVC did do valve replacement surgery but i'm lead to believe that they no longer do this. I could be wrong its always worth checking directly. The Cardiology nurse that works there is always really helpful and her name is Charlotte Pace.

Is there anything else I can help you with?

You can maybe help me by asking your boss where I can access info on this type of surgery. I can access quite a lot of journals, but specific ones would be a help instead of me having to trawl through them all to see if they are relevant.

Or if they know of any papers that have been written on it that would be fab. I have managed to access a few, but can only get the abstracts on the sites I am using.
