Not broken toes yet. Have ripped toenails out many times. I am careful barefoot around horses since l was a kid and a friends horse stamped and chopped her toe off.

I'm with you Caro - I'm not a girlie girl and hate buying shoes. Barefeet/socks around the house/garden/holiday (have had 3 broken toes at various times though as am also mighty clumsy!), favourite pair of boots, pumps, trainers and flipflops. I own one smart pair of shoes which I never wear unless forced ;-) I also sit on the floor a lot which makes everyone laugh every week at our staff meetings when they're all fighting for chairs.

I wore socks the other night to vist my dad. I had been relaxing at home with my feet on a hot water bottle when l stood up l froze. Other wise l am back to crocks if need (work etc) and barefoot rest of the time.
