Great! I have already started a thread about my 1st day. Great team dead friendly and welcoming!

Just need to get my basic training under my belt so I can start working properly! do a lot of hovering currently, but all good!

So I had my last day at work yesterday. It was a nice day nothing too dramatic happened at work. Had tea and cake in the afternoon with a picture of me on it. Card and presents....

Plus a photo montage to music which was really nice...

Then last night we went out for laser quest and pizza. Very sad to of left, but as they say onwards and upwards. This time next week I'll be a member of the NHS!!!!!!

Had BCG as a kid at 2ndry school and have scar too!!! so that's one less gab, I also hate having gabs or blood taken so the less times I have to visit occupational healt the better hehehe

The nurse who did my 1st hep B did that to me! it was like she wanted the plunger to go in as well! bled so much they did a heamatology on me to check up on it hate needles when they're going in me so was not amused... had really bad bruising for two weeks. She was much gentler with the second one but i'm not sure she even got it in the muscle... not looking forward to the third. have you had the TB jab nick? think they require that as well, and a mantoux test if you don't have a scar. luckily i've got a TB scar so got away with that one. Good luck in the new job, i'm sure you won't regret it

Just tell them it's totally different to vet nursing and you don't have a clue what you're doing, that way they won't expect too much of you then you can dazzle them with your knowledge and skill lol
