Yep! Just send your details to me at lucy.brett@ceva.com and I will put you on this list.

Nearer the time you will get an e-mail with a link. Click on this to download the programme. Then just click on it again on the night to enter the session. You will be able to hear Sarah, see the slides and type questions in the box provided. At the end you will be asked by e-mail to answer a couple of easy questions about what you have just heard. Once you have answered you will be sent your CPD certificate and leacture notes.

Please keep me informed about the CEVA courses. I am a Veterinary Receptionist who passed the ONCE level 2 Canine Training & Behaviour course last year & my Head Nurse has suggested that these may be a good thing to do also.

Yeah it still counts for over here too. I think in the US CPD is recorded in continuing education points or something and its totalled up that way. Rubbish about your certificate though, maybe try reprinting it off tomorrow incase there's a blip there somewhere? Which course did you do?

Just completed one of the Idexx courses and have printed out a certificate but its BLANK

Does this count towards UK CPD?? It's all in American and talking about CE points or something??

omg.. love her!! probably the same bloody 'college' fooled her like they fooled me.. they told me that the diploma was a recognised one too!!... it doesn't half knock your confidence, and I kinda felt like an idiot too!! ... oh well ... not heard anything yet about getting my money back.. still waiting on 3yrs worth of bank statements lol xx

Dunno :( .. I went to the bank yesterday and told them what happened, that it was fraud etc.. I paid for it 2 yrs ago, so they are aending me 3 yrs worth of bank statements! so I'm waiting for the giant lorry to deliver my mail.. then when I find the transaction, we'll go from there..

To be honest, the money back would be nice as it would pay for another course (one that IS recognised!!) but like you said.. it's my time, effort, and excitement thats gone into it - for nothing at the end! got to be so careful these days!

If you go onto the bbc news uk website - type in 'national home study' in the search bar.. the story will pop up.. the x-ray team are investigating him now I think!

All I will say is please be very careful when buying online courses .. I bought one about 2yrs ago, Higher diploma aminal nursing and psychology.. it involved alot of research and hours an hours of my time.. was on the final assignment when I found out the 'company' had gone bust, and all along they were issuing FAKE diplomas.. the guy in under investigation for fraud.. his name is Phillips August (name and shame!) I paid £400 for that course and was led to believe it was recognised by rcvs.. I thought I'd have something worth while afterwards .. I found out about 3 days ago, only just stopped crying!! I'm so gutted :(

Anyways.. whatever course you do, please please be careful.. make sure it IS recongised course your doing.. and if you see the name Phillips August - Stay well away l . .

I'm finding it quite hard to find courses i could dissolve myself into. In the past i have done research off my own back for my last job, i looked deeply into Myxomatosis and Post-Capture Myopathy. Amongst other things.

I have to say, i'm not mad keen on things like behaviour, etc. I'd like to look into Patholgy but it seems only vets get to do that one!! :(

Maybe i should find another Anatomy or Biology type thing... oh i dunno!!!

The Sarah Heath course is yes.

I think there is a small charge for the lincoln course, but you would need to talk to them. We don't run that course.

Lincoln univercity run a very good behaviour / using pheromones short course and I believe they still have places available http://www.lincoln.ac.uk/dbs/pheromone-course.htm.

What are you interested in?

COAPE have short courses in behaviour or try your nearest animal/ag college as most will run short courses or online courses
