Some centres have various volunteer opportunites from rehoming, socialising animals, cleaning, walking dogs etc.</p> <p>As for helping elderly people I&#39;m not sure if there are any organisations to assist (apart from Cinnamon Trust but I believe thats more helping pets of owners who have passed away?) so it may need to be done on a personal level by speaking to neighbours directly.</p> <p>Good Luck! <img src="http://www.vetnurse.co.uk/emoticons/new/Thumbs_up.png" alt="Thumbs up" /></p><div style="clear:both;"></div>
