my boss used to have this absolute wonder drug called finajet (anabolic steroid) - every condition known to veterinary science responded to a shot of finajet and duplocillin or sometimes instead of finajet voren and duplo combo. we had surprisingly few drugs in stock. amfipen was always good to carry on with 2 days post duplo. belly ache no problem - a shot of buscopan followed up with duplo and if they had the rodneys as well some luverly green neosulph susp or kaobiotic tablets if you were big enough for them. In saying we were challenged in the pharmacy dept we had a pretty good success rate, i suppose things were a lot simpler and not overcomplicated but animals survived pretty well.
