Anyone else seen this? There has been so many anti vet articles recently, makes me cross Why can't they write about things in a more balanced way

Re: More vet bashing..

'For when he was just seven, Jaggers was diagnosed with kidney disease. The same vet prescribed some more dried food, especially designed for cats with urinary problem'

Why a urinary diet when the cat had renal disease?

The whole article's a load of rubbish and not worth getting annoyed about really...as has been said people always want something or someone to blame, if its not the food that killed the dog it'll be the shampoo or the water or something, not genetics or anything like that.

How many people who feed raw/unprocessed food to theirs pets don't eat processed food themselves?

I'm not against BARF at all and i know people who feed their dogs very successfully on it, but its not for me, and i'm perfectly happy with the processed commerical food i feed my pets, i only by the best quality, and stick two fingers up to anyone who says i should do otherwise

I read the first few paragraphs then skim read. Not out of anger but dismay, how can people write this stuff? Every animal is different, different circumstances etc. Yet the brand everyone with the same brush.

Along with some of her liitle buddies responsible for the closure of the pets MRSA forum - huge service to pets and their owners there (not). Also responsible for a whole lot of comments following the Marc Abraham article - most of them not actually relevant to the article. Richard Allport vet, somebody else who monopolised the pets MRSA forum. Roger Meacock the vet have a couple of internet links with him and Matthew Watkinson mentioned together. As I say Daily Mail out to sell copies more than anything else - and todays news is tomorrows kennel liner - there to be crapped and peed on. Everbody is entitled to their own opinion but sadly its seems its only the ones that sell the papers that get a hearing. I can respect that different people have different opinions - I have no respect for people who cannot accept that their belief system isnt the only one that exists and they feel the need to ram it down everybody elses throats. I am sure this will be quoted (or more likely misquoted selectively on other sites) as this seems to be common within this little group.
