Us, irish seems to be backwards. We do need to be employed with a vet for the duration of the course but that can start the same week you start college. So i am applying to college and hope i get a position as a trainee vet nurse. Im going to offer to work for free. Anything to get in.

I have sent my college application in and the interview will be in april/may, so i suppose that won't be long coming, so im trying to be prepared.

What type of questions could i possibly be asked? My current employer is giving me a practice interview sometime.

Remeber the nursing qualification is undergoing a massive overhaul, I'd read up about this prior to getting your hopes up at a college interview as all may well change

I panicked about my college interview for weeks, getting everyone I knew to ask me mock questions, and when I turned up for it they hardly asked me anything, just why I wanted to do vet nursing, did I realise how hard it would be, then they told me about what the course involved and that was it!
