I found it a little emotional... the atmosphere was buzzing and we were all there for one thing, raising money for cancer research and doing it for the ones we have lost or the ones who have fought it...

I wore pink top, leggings and trainers, with a pink tutu and pink leg warmers, lol.

Before the warm up and race. Im wearing pink top.

thanks! i'll just b walking it as well, not fit enough to run lol! im going with my mum, were doing it for my dad who died 2 and a half yrs ago, only aged 50, trying to decide what to wear, just realised its getting quite close now! i think its goin to b a very emotional day!

Im doing the 10k Race for Life in Dundee on Saturday, think it may be a little ambitious but hey, if people can beat cancer I can try and run 10k to help!

Mine today was the first one ive ever done. I raised £105.

I completed my 5k race in 48 minutes. A combo of jogging and walking (mostly walking at times, cos i got so hot).

Ive got sun burnt shoulders and face, oopsy!! And ima ching all over now, but the atmosphere today was immense.

Arrhhh.... I havent done anywhere near as much training for it that i should have, oops! But im gona enjoy the day anyways, even if i am red faced and outta breath, lol.

Ive just signed up to do it this year. Mine is in Winchester on Sunday 13th June 2010.

Ive never done this before, i have a friend who has signed up with me and she has signed her sister up as well. So should be a good day to have fun and raise money for charity.

It was in our local paper, don't think it was posted anywhere else.

Milton Keynes also do the "Big DoggyDo weekend " too but can't remember when that is.

Our sister practice normally has a practice dog walk for us and clients for Blue Cross but this would be good too!

Was for Cancer research, a bit cheaper to do than the race for life but was a walk around Campbell park in Milton Keynes with your dog.

I got the whole practice to do it, even one without a dog so she borrowed one of my babies. We had a picnic at the end of it and watched a dog display too

Was going to do it, promised myself last year but my ankle is still bad, waiting on the results of the xray.

Couldn't do the "Walk in the park" one either because of it. I was the doggy first aider last year so my excuse to be at the back of the walk.

i hardly dare say this but im lucky enought that im not doing the race for anyone in perticular, just for all victims and survivors! i hope it stays that way

Hi.... I'm thim#nking about doing it this year... have done it a couple of times before.... I'm a fast walker, not a runner!
