put a letter into the editor of the local Manchester newspapers, and tell them why you're after info and see if they publish it and get any further information...

Duh sorry l read that and went totally blank course not contact her sorry well could get a court order if there was something specific? On the other hand if it was the practice she was at l can not see how that is covered?

If it was where she worked could use the method of asking them to contact the practice for you

They won't release anything because she is deceased.

Another thought send a letter to all the practices in the Manchester area or ring and ask for the practice manager. It will be time consuming and some cost involved but may be worth it. Can try emails but often those are deleted before being read.

Explain the circumstances you want to contact her and ask them to contact her for you. I have contacted people for others using the same method l do the leg work and play postman. This is a perfectly reasonable request and there is no reason to refuse as they are not giving info out.

Try the bat conservation trust they are the legal body for bats and may well be able to help. Or as Rachel says rcvs down in london but possibly better to ring them both up direcly

Have you tried looking on the RCVS list?

Sometimes it'll bring up nurses that are no longer listed...

Ps. It seems to be down again at the moment - they've only justhad it fixed!)
