I wash my hair in the mornings. I do blow dry, especially in winter but on low heat.

Always get oily hairy products where possible.

P.S. Allergic to all dove products
I would say change your routine when washing your hair. I wash mine early evening, towel dry and tie back so it dries naturally. This helps alot. I find drying ym hair alot makes it go rather greasy. I also suffer when i dry my hair with a hair dryer! Too painful!

I think drying it daily wont be helping at all! Would really try changing tht!
I can't tie mine back too often when it's wet, mostly because it breaks my hair and gives me the frizzies. but also because it puts stress on the folicle and causes it to protect it's self and produce oil! which is annoying when i go to take my hair down and it's greasy again! I usually just give it a good towel dry and then leave the window open on my way to work OR just leave it be and give it a brush before i go into work or get where i'm going.
I sometimes get the greasy hair thing when its tied up! Just depends! I usually loosly tie it! My hair is awful in winter tho, sometimes fine bright and shiny for weeks then goes minging for weeks! Who woulda thought hair would be so complex!
This is why i keep like 8 brands of shampoo and conditioners! I like to use one for a week and then switch. then you get that new clean feeling every week!

Oily hair products can be deceiving sometimes, depending on what they used to 'strip' the oil. sometimes if they strip too much of the oil and over dry the scalp it will actually make your hair more oily because your scalp tries to protect itself. Maybe try some 'normal to oily' hair products with natural ingredients and not so many chemicals so it leaves your natural oils alone but still cleans your hair. Try to blowdry as little as possible if you can and leave your hair to 'air dry' so you don't heat up your scalp and make it sweat. it doesn't take much since you're already producing heat from your head to begin with!

I'm allergic to Dove too, but mostly because of the paraben in it! it' could be you might have an allergy to it too?

Re: Shampoo?
I have similar hair to yours, I like the wella sp regulate shampoo but its pretty expensive, esp. as I wash mine every day. I have also been using aussie which is really good, doesn't make my hair greasy at all. Anything volumising is generally pretty good as it doesn't weigh the hair down.
