Glad to hear he's well People should ask before giving anything to other peoples pets! At a BBQ someone gave my nurse friends springer x a chicken bone Thankfully he was fine!

He is in great form, thankfully, had a normal bowel movement today, and is full of beans, running around like a mad dog again! I should just put a big sign up saying....do not feed the dog!

We had a dog in between Christmas & NY, who ate 1kg of Chrismas Cake. She went into liver failure, rather than kidney failure but after a couple of days on fluids & destolit she was OK. Keep an eye on the dog & if still not good then bloods.

He seems to be fine, running around, playing ball, doing the usual doggie things! Of course he is under strict observation now...dont you just hate that. My father in law does that too...feed the dog all sorts of crap...I am really strict with his diet, I have had to say many times not to give the dog anything, and they look at me like I am the spoilsport, depriving the dog...arghhh!

Hi, I woul;d def give your vet a call, raisins are toxic to dogs and some breeds more than others, so def give them a call now

You could try contacting VPIS for advice,

My westie (9kg) ate 5 mince pies last year and VPIS said the amount of currants/sultanas/raisins weren't enough to cause a problem with her. But I think some dogs can be more sensitive than others

I'd phone VPIS if you're worried
