Im so sorry about your cat, i know what you are going through as i lost my cat to the same thing last year, he was sixteen and yowling in pain even after a big dose of vetergesic, i hadnt seen any cats recover with that condition so decided to let him go. Everytime i see a cat with the same thing i burst into tears, you did the right thing for him x

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.

I know the prgnosis is usually pretty poor but we did have one a couple of months ago who did brilliantly and he was all but written off based on previous cases. he came back a couple of weeks ago for something unrelated and it was only the fact that the cat's name rang a bell which made me have a nosy at the hsitory that made me realise it was the same cat. Don't give up yet as long as you're realistic!
