Yes, I have had an FIV positive cat before. He was a feral and had an RTA. . I took him home from the PDSA (he was - ive) and then a couple of years later he got FIV. His name was Thug. Everyone loved him. He was a real character. He lived 4 years post diagnosis.

FIV positive cats can go on to live almost as long as normal cats, it doesn't have to be a death sentence so fingers crossed he will be ok for a long while yet.

Yes, it is hard enough losing Lucan and now finding out his best friend Hagrid my other bengal rescue cat is FIV positive really hurts.

But, I have the Inland Revenue to pay this month and could do with Petplan getting their act together very soon.

awww sorry to hear Lucan died ..

I hope you get whats owing to you.. the last thing you need is to be messed around after loosing a loved pet! .. I'm sure petplan will sort it.. they usually are pretty good otherwise!
