I don't have them all in one place to show you I am afraid, looking around you seem to be able to get all sorts! If there was a specific theme - e.g. animals, sea based, pink etc I could mail you a link with some examples once I have found them?

I am currently buying loads off ebay where I have become a little addicted

New items that I am making/selling! They are not on Facebook yet as I have made this one for my sisters birthday on 3rd Feb so she isn't to see it until then!

These are around £30-40 per bracelet but each one depends on the charms they use as to what they cost. They can be done in pretty much any colour and with any theme of charms you like! Let me know if you think you might be interested!

I have made a Pandora-style bracelet for my sisters birthday and have 2 orders from our receptionists but can't show you all until after my sister gets it - I don't want to risk her seeing it before then!

I am hoping to try some more styles this weekend so keep your eyes peeled!

A gorgeous purple necklace and bracelet for myself (am going out tonight and have planned my outfit around it!)!

And a very cute pink butterfly necklace and bracelet for my friends birthday!

Definately! The pink berry bunch earrings are 6mm rose quartz beads and the one just above is a type of obsidian bead! They are lovely to work with.

I think I could do it on a waxed cotton cord if you would prefer? Will work out about £15 if that is ok with you? I think I can do it as it is other than that, will just need to wait and see the cord thickness - but I will contact you if there is any problems!

Hi, I like the dragonfly exactly as it is in the photo, but wouldn't mind blue or purple beads with it if you prefer. I really like the dragonfly, and would like it on non leather cord if poss.

Talking about that Dippy - I just made a pair of snowflake serpentine earrings on the butterfly bar backings to see if it was the kind of thing you might be looking for?

They don't hang as low as the others as they are only just below the bar.

I am loving the challenge of the new ideas for people!

I have been looking around at prices to try and figure out what to charge - it seems the prices are ranging from about £10 for earrings up to around £20-30 for necklaces. Does this seem fair? Is this the kind of price you would pay (in general I mean, not for anything in particular!)?

If it was made on fine black chain like the one in the photo I could probably do it for around £7.50 - £10 but it would depend on if you wanted other beads with it and the final decision on the material. Either way would be happy to look at what you wanted!

The jewellery party is a great idea - I've been to a few and they are good fun. Start with family and friends but make some little flyers to hand out to everyone at the end and I bet you'd get a few more from people they work with and so on (if you can fit them around nursing hours of course!) Good second income.

Gorgeous jewellery , well done you!

I've been selling my handmade wedding tiaras (and some jewellery) online for the past 4 years to help pay the rent at uni so maybe I can help! I started off selling my items on eBay, and then later made my own website. If you can find a way to get to the post office even once a week, its definately worth doing (I state on my listings that each item can take up to 10 days to be made and sent out, which gives me time to get to the P.O!) I also list some items on www.etsy.com which is an awesome american website that allows people like us who make all sorts of items by hand to set up their own online shop and sell what they have created. I love it, its really great for inspiration! You don't have to be from the US to sell things on there either, as it is getting more and more well known in the UK.

Otherwise, I would say have a go at craft fairs, but be really careful which ones you go to and do your research before hand! some can be really expensive to enter, and you need to be sure they are going to get enough people through the door for you to sell enough things to make back your entry fee. You could also try asking at local galleries and art cafes and see if they'd be willing to put some of your stuff on display from which they can earn commission.This is scary but can work... although so far i've not had much luck personally. I had some items put up in a local wedding shop, only to have had nothing sell in the 2 months they've been there. Ohh also, make a facebook page so that all your friends and family know about your jewellery, and pass the message on to their friends too.

As for price, have a look around the internet at websites selling similar jewellery to yours and take note of the prices they are offering. Ebay and Etsy is great for this because you can look at the seller's feedbacks and see how successful they are and how many items they sell each month on the prices they are offering. When you first start out its easy to undersell yourself too - make sure you don't do this!! Your selling price should cover the cost of your materials and also the time it takes you to make it, as well as a little bit extra that can be saved away for the future of your 'company' if that is the direction you want to go.

I hope my waffling has helped, and I really hope you get lots of lovely sales! Its a really great feeling sending off the first item you've made a well earned profit on.
