As for the air... um bicarb soda in pots round the practice to help absorb odour? Replace them daily.

hope this helps, i grew up in the back woods in Georgia and we have lots of skunkies!! The cats and dogs used to get it regularly!

Re: Skunk stench!

have only come across a de scented one once (and it was still pretty stinky) so I can empathise! the cat basket we used to move it and the kennel it was in were cleaned first in a solution of washing powder then rinsed and soaked in bleach soln for as long as we dare they were then left out in the yard to the elements for a couple of days before being rebleached and dried. we then brought them back in doors but only used when we absolutely had to but cleaned every day at least even tho they hadnt been used. Rubber mat off the table we first soaked in washing powder soln int the tub sink, then bleached and then laid it in the tub sink , put a load of newspaper on top of it , soaked the newspaper in odour eliminator and left overnight (this seemed to work very well). The rest of the building used odour eliminator or aniseed essential oil / eucalyptus essential oil on cotton wool put in a saucer and left on top of the radiator overnight (I think the aniseed smelt better than the eucalyptus but thats just my prefernce)

Hope this helps - and you are right it does track through the whole building!

Re: Skunk stench!

I was going to say ketchup then I realised it's not on an animal
