sometimes the yellow pages ones or hospital contact ones are a lot cheaper than CPC and the like - it pays to shop around What sort of area are you based

Have you not got any local colleges or schools, ideally VN training schools or local TP's that could use some interesting ones? Might take some off your hands?

Thanks everyone. unfortunately we use a small local crem and they don't have the relevant paperwork to do it, I'll have to look in the yellow pages when I eventually get into work (stupid snow!) The other alternative is probably to leave them in the loft for another millon years........................!

at the Wildlife hospital used them as splints for bird wings when we ran outta cardboard when the wings needed to be extended.

Our crem take ours too, we have to arrange special collection and get charged per kg.

We use summerleaze for our cremation & waste collection and they collect our old x-ray films

with difficulty - they are supposed to be collected for silver recovery and shouldnt go into ordinary rubbish - if you look in yellow pages you may find somebody under specialist disposal if not contact your local hospital and in they may be able to give you a number or somebody to contact. Alternatively try the company that supply your xray equipment they may be able to put in touch with somebody

dont put them in ordinary rubbish - if you get caught environment agency will be down on you like a ton of bricks
