My sister in law is a carer, and some other friends I know too - I agree a forum for them would probably be much appreciated.

My best friend runs her own beauticians - I could get her to get in touch with you if you want. She is a bit dippy though - not sure how much she would be!

Also with Nick and myself starting in the NHS and both in the technical/back room staff side, perhaps a community for the non-nurse/doctor routes of the NHS?

Well, I think that I'll want to include complementary therapies, but start with mainstream stuff like hair, cosmetics, nails etc. Think I need someone who has experience in these areas to take a look at what I am doing and suggest what is going to be most useful for people working in these areas ...

I do complementary therapies too - there arent too many groups or forums for us! and the ones there are are a bit dry and boring! Something along the lines of vetnurse might wake things up a bit

on the beauty side can put you in touch with a couple of colleges

I am qualified in various complementary therapies (for humans) although I don't practice anymore (only for friends ands family but not for money!) if that's any help. What kind of things do you need to know about? Not sure whether I'd be able to help/answer questions but will have a go depending on the type of info you need.
