Was at my friend's last night, one who I was out with and her boyfriend who picked me up and she was saying that I was absoloutely fine, drank my drink then just collapsed, eyes rolling, no control over limbs, head etc.

Her boyfriend is a nurse and thought I'd have some form of opiate or benzodiazepine. He said he'd never seen me or anyone else like that off alcohol alone.

I'd only had a couple of drinks so DEFINATELY not drunk, my drink had been tampered with in some way.

I feel really violated, I'm so lucky nothing happened to me, but I had no control and that terrifies me

Oh that is so awful for you! aslong as you are ok now.

I once had my drink spiked and I dont remember a thing of the night I was driving so definatly not drunk!! according to my friend this bloke did try to pull me away but luckily he saw and got me and took me home I was fine just very sick the next day. It really shook me up and made me quite nervous about going out for a long time after I just surrounded myself with friends,

I'm glad that you're ok ultimately although a horrible thing for anyone to have to go through.

I had my drink spiked 4years ago (in a club that has now shut down, hmmmm), passed out in the toilets and ended up in hospital.

I always thought I was careful with my drinks, never left them unattended etc etc, but it was such a horrible experience i wont ever have more than one drink when im out now as i hate being even tipsy as it makes me so paranoid

Hello!

I just wanted to say that you were luckier than you will ever know, my drink was spiked last year and I was not so lucky even though I had friends around me it didnt stop them.

Its a very hard lesson to learn that we are all very vulnerable. Please take care when out and about even more so when drinking as there are so many drugs available that are undetectable even in soft drinks.

Claire thats awful but thank god your mates were about. It will also make us all be more careful as well! Although a good way to avoid it is just drink SHOTS! So no glass/bottle hanging around.

Eeek that scary stuff, glad you OK though... lucky your friends were there.

Not sure what drinks you drink but I know some of the pubs/ clubs in our town give away little squshy tops that fit on the top of the bottle making it impossible to put anything in it... believe you can order bags of these too... have often thought of this myself to keep my blue WKDS safe on a night out but one of those things you never get round to isnt it

I felt ok first thing, then I got up to have a hot bath and I had to lie on the floor for a bit, everytime I moved I felt horrific but that's passed now and so far so good. Dressed and up and about

I am always so careful and forever telling people to be just as careful! It's scary what can happen! But am the same as u after a few drinks and as am skint i would have probably drunk it which i know is bad but after a few drinks you sort of lose your sensible head!

oh no! Poor you!

Something similar happened to me a fwe years back, I was in my local on x-mas eve and I had a few drinks, got home and woke up on the floor in the toilet

I reckon I had my drink spiked (even tho I was so carefull) as I woke up and couldn't move properly... not nice at all. So I do sympathise and I learn the hard way!

Its a very scary thing that you cant put your drink down for a second! I knew someone that got spiked now I wont even put my drink down to go to the loo. These idiots make it crap for every1 else, hope you ok x
