To be honest, whatever McD's put in their stuff doesn't surprise me...hence not touching the place with a barge pole!!!

not sure about your friends milk shake story but some of the thickest milkshakes in the world are in New England and their called Frapps. there's absolutely no potato starch in them and they are made with just milk and ice-cream and are unflipping believable! I was so confused when i ordered a milkshake here when they handed me a drink that actually came up my straw and didn't need a spoon!! i've always known milkshakes and frapps to be frozen and thick! otherwise it's just chocolate or flavored milk.

We have this fast food restaurant in the US called Wendy's and they make this chocolate frozen milkshake called a Frostie. OMG SO YUM and the traditional thing to do is dip your fries in it! I remember people doing it with milkshake! My nephew now works part time in McD's...i am never eating there again. They had no running water the other day...and still stayed open! They were 'washing' their hands in buckets of water!!! Only used to eat there prob once a year anyway, so i'm not gonna miss it!!!

A nurse at work has toast with salt and pepper on it...i tried it, yuck!
