Definitely 100% recommend Graham Bilbrough from Idexx for Haematology and biochemistry, had him last week with a record turnout and a fantastic lecture.

SJ and other manchester/merseyside and cheshire nurses email me ideas steph@vetnurse.co.uk I am your newish RCO, I have got a couple in the pipeline for may (Sarah Heath and Allison German on FLUTD)and july (Bsaic derm sampling and parasites), but lots of ideas welcome

At the moment they will be held on the Wirral purely because that is easier for me to organise and cheap for us. However I know it can be a pain coming from the other side of Manchester, if anyone knows of anywhere cheap (to keep cost down for you guys) over that way where we can hold some then please let me know details and I'll see what I can do

Fi, I'd like haematology, perhaps a skills session?

Exotics (like snakes, iguanas, tortoises, terrapins) - common complaints, housing, feeding etc

Cat behaviour - lots of cpd is on dog behaviour, I went to congress (BVNA) last year and had a really good lecture on cats

Bereavement....

I don't do these, but pehaps and idea would be how to set up sucessful clinics e.g puppy parties

yeah would like some in the manchester/ bury area but on different days, they seem to be run on tue and wed nights when i have to work. i prefer practical cpd rather than just communication ones, other than that i will go for pretty much anything, exotics,nutrition, understanding bloods etc.

Find out who your local BVNA reps are and give them your suggestions!!!

Its fine coming on & say we need more of this or that but when I've put out newsletters or surveys for what nurses want I get few ,if any, responses back.

Only you can tell your reps what you want to listen to - and its makes our jobs easier, cos we don't have to rack our brains trying to keep everyone happy!

We need more CPD up in the Manchester area!!! But the ones that are up north are always dental ones! x
