the mystery is solved - as Hissycat mentioned - it's part time @ 35 hours a week, plus 1 in 4 Saturday mornings.........

Full time qualified place has been filled, and they're still ploughing through first stage interviews for the "part time" unqualified post.....

waiting to see if I get called for 2nd interview or not, but the job would have an impact on my existing job and plans...

I enquired about a 'part time' job at vets now once.. was still 35 hours a week! 'part time' for a veterinary worker, obviously!

thanks for spotting the advert - I don't see a VN Times - and hadn't spotted the advert.....

sent in my CV and they've offered me an interview for the part time job......yippeee....may end up with three part time jobs if I'm lucky with this one....

Yeah, they have 2 positions available!

I get what you mean though... it does read 17-19k for a FT QVN and 13-14k for a PT SVN!

if you look on the ads here they are offering 17 -19k for a QVN full time - so I would imagine this would be pro rata. Maybe it was a mistake in the ad

oooh, blimey that is sneaky wording! But I CANNOT believe that a non qualififed nurse could earn that much part time. I've got family in kent, maybe I'll look into it...!
